If you have any questions leave a comment below. So the filmic stuff has been added to Blender since like 2.7, but Im going into it now to try it, and Im not seeing a difference. We can now start using Blender and build up 2D/3D content. The moment we open Blender we are greeted with a beautiful splash screen. ![]() If you have Homebrew installed simple run. Unzip the archive and now we are good to go with moving the only two files we need to the Applications folder. Enter the blenderdocs folder which was just added by the SVN checkout: cd /blenderdocs Inside that folder is a file called requirements.txt which contains a list of all the dependencies we need. Currently, it only supports CUDA GPU and has initial support for AMD so the render time may vary depending on the Graphics Card itself or the software may only support CPU rendering depending on the hardware support. Install those packages or make sure you have them in your system. It is also one of the few software that offers GPU rendering (Cycles Renderer). Blender is a free production ready open-source 2D/3D Animation software package that is used by studios and individuals to create stunning artwork, animated films, models, packshots, VFX, 3D printing and video game development. ![]()
